3 What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness?

Present day/my translation:  What if some of us don't have faith in God????  Because of their lack of faith in Him, will this make our Creator, Lord and Savior any less faithful to those who lack in this quality????

4 Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written:
   "So that you may be proved right when you speak
      and prevail when you judge." 
(see Psalm 51 verse 4)

Present day/my translation to question above:  "No, God is what He is...true to His Word, faithful to His Word.  Man is not always the same, not faithful to God's Word or faithful, in general to God or mankind because of the nature of the beast; because of our lineage of sin and disobedience.  Sometimes we do not mean to think a certain thought in a negative manner, but it happens and we will keep on doing it through the course of our life.  

These human actions are manifested to prove God's righteousness and not only His faithfulness to us in correcting us as a father or parent would, but also to prove that His judgment is fair, just, everlasting, ever faithful and loving for our own good.  "Love never fails."

Psalm 51:4
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
       and done what is evil in your sight, 

       so that you are proved right when you speak
       and justified when you judge. 

9 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in His sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.

5 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; 7 the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. 8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.

My personal take on this scripture is that we think we can rule ourselves; that we think we are own gods or goddesses within ourselves and truly know the nature of right and wrong.  But this attitude of self-governance is far from the truth.  In fact, it is very arrogant to think that man can govern himself most of the time without the aid of the Creator of this awesome Universe. And then, when man has a couple of minutes or feels like it, he will pick and choose when he will have time to commune with his Maker.  This does produce a sinful nature in that man distances himself from the Lord, thinking it's okay for him to think this way because it says in the Bible that God made him in image and likeness of God.  This type of self-aggrandizing outlook gives us a false sense of arrogant pride that eventually leads to a puffed-up ego; also thinking that one is in total control of themselves and the world they live in.  But as you can see, no one is in total control on this planet.

The only True one in control is our Holy Father who rules from the heaves above.  He is behind the scenes doing what is best for us, doing what is for the betterment of all mankind.  We cannot save ourselves, no matter how educated we are and how much we think we NOW understand the cosmos.  God is loyal, unchanging but changing His creation constantly as He changes us, molds us for our own good, as a good father who endearingly and faithfully loves His children always; He is always there to help us and guide us down the right path.  It is we who choose to go down the other path, thinking we can rule ourselves from all our books and wealth, and life experience on this planet.  But we cannot still control unseen events, can we????  Only Our Father can and does, except most people refuse to accept this simple fact because it is too easy to understand.

Work with God and He will work with you.  He keeps all his promises that He has made to us in the past through His Son, Jesus Christ.  He loves us all.  And if we are ready to learn,  He will gladly teach us His Way, regardless of our past, present, or future.

1 JOHN 4:19

God, my relationships with others reflect my relationship with You. When I know that You love me and accept me, I am free to love and accept others. When I know that I am a child of God, I am free to love others as brothers and sisters. Thank You for Your abiding love -- may it be seen in my relationship with others. In Jesus' name. I have a hard time with loving people who are manipulating or loving that attribute in them and I know it is because I don't like it in myself.  It seems the more "stiff-necked" I become toward the individual(s) who is manipulating or controlling, the more they become more hateful towards me.  According to the scriptures, this is because I am becoming more hateful towards them, when I need to ask the Lord for help in this situation.  "LET GO AND LET GOD take over."  Submit to Him and love my enemies.  I think these things happen to me because I am NOT trusting in God fully; obviously, the more I write about this and think about what Jesus preaches, I need to submit to the Lord wholly.  I am going to do this fully and keep this project updated on this blog.  Because I am of a human spirit but made in the image of our creator God, I know this will work out but have a slight doubt, because I do not want to get hurt, because I have been hurt in the past. Jesus wants me to know and feel His love as His father loves Him, so does Jesus and His Father love me.

These two quotes are from Our Daily Bread dated 7/20/2010.

Even when the horizon looks gray, beyond that view are surprises to be seen. "Keeping the faith" is sometimes hard to do but with each sustained hope, the rewards given by the Father and his son Jesus are innumerable. Maybe I am wrong on this one because I am still learning and, of course, will always be, but the Holy Spirit is the bearer or presenter of these gifts, given out by the grace of our Father and His "only begotten Son."

The more I learn about Him and the more I remain faithful, the more gifts are poured out on me. I don't do this for the gifts. I do it to be truly happy and because someday I want to be truly with the Lord. Don't get me wrong, I know the He is with me now on this earthly plane. Sometimes I get sick of fighting the earthly evils I encounter every day. But true happiness, contentment only comes from know the Lord and letting other people know about His salvation and grace through acts of love. We MUST follow in His footsteps and sometimes this can be hard to do while living on this planet.

That is when I have to remember that Jesus died for our sins, all of mankind's sins, past, present and future. He humbled Himself and was tortured and mocked, beaten, spit on and kept on going. even though his physical body was in complete pain. He had nails driven into His wrists and endured all of our pain through His pain, so He would know what it was like to be human in pain. HE WAS FAITHFUL to his Father's wishes and committed the ultimate act by sacrificing Himself so that we may know the real meaning of FREEDOM given ONLY by and through His Father, the one and ONLY creator of the universe. What other human man would have done this for us ???

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of G_d— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are G_d's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which G_d prepared in advance for us to do.

The Lord knew me before I was even born. He already had a plan for for me before I started to form your own plans. He had it planned out for me because He loves me and wants to guide me in the right direction but still give I have free will. When we do not do as our Father has taught us, we pay the consequences and, hopefully, as we get older we either see the "fruit" of our life, good or bad, or just plain non-productive. I can tell you that G_d's guidance IS very important through His WORD in the bible, because if I could have followed this prescription for a good life, earlier on in my life, I would have done so. But because I wasn't taught in the whole WORD of our creator, I had to go through my trials and tribulations; and still do. But now that I have been saved I understand the underlying causes for all of the issues I have been through, and am doing the best to iron things out. This is the path I have been led down. Even through my most lowest and loneliest moments, G-d would not leave me, because He knew what was in my future; that I would be praising His name and giving Him the just glories to the best of my present abilities.

If you think there is no G-d, think again. I do not have a PhD or master's degree or even a bachelor's degree but I have had spiritual experiences that have been life-changing to me through the GRACE of G_d, to protect me. My husband, who is a US Army veteran, has also had his experiences out on the battlefield. He told me that numerous times he has held soldiers in his arms when they are dying, and the one's who he knew were atheists, did not cry out for their mother, they cried out for G_d to save them, the last words out of their mouths seconds before they passed away.

So, if you are, now, not a believer in our Lord, take a chance and believe in Him. He wants you to. He wants to love you as a good and decent father does. He is there for us always. Knock on the door and He will answer. It will be an ongoing growth process, and sometimes we will have doubts about our faith. But this is normal, and He knows that also. We are only human. We are made in "His image and likeness," so we may be like Him and show that our human works are done because of Him and through His grace, but we are not gods ourselves. We cannot do it by ourselves, because sooner or later this type of thinking leads to self-destruction in the physical or spiritual realm of our being.

I have been down this road of thinking that if we are made in the "image and likeness" of G_d, then the realization is, 'Well, that means, we are god, or we have gods in our own rights, and just have to meditate on this and we will be at the center of the universe, be at one with ourselves, and know the true nature of our "god-selves."; that we have our own self-knowledge within us and this was the message that Jesus was telling us about; that "Ye must be born again," is about reincarnation, not about being born again into G_d's family. We are born of the flesh and out of the flesh, and into the flesh of the world. It's a carnal thing. Being born into G_d's family is not carnal, it is a spiritual rebirth into our really family and learning who are real Father is, our real creator is.

1 Corinthians 2:6-16

that he may instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

says the Lord.

11 I am with you and will save you,’

Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you,

I will not completely destroy you.

I will discipline you but only with justice; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.’

14 All your allies have forgotten you; they care nothing for you.

I have struck you as an enemy would and punished you as would the cruel,

because your guilt is so great and your sins so many.

16 “ ‘But all who devour you will be devoured; all your enemies will go into exile.

Those who plunder you will be plundered; all who make spoil of you I will despoil.

17 But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’

declares the Lord,

‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.’

24 The fierce anger of the Lord will not turn back until He fully accomplishes

the purposes of His heart.

1 Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, 2 to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.

3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in G_d may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.


P.S. I have had the gracious opportunity of being annointed by the Holy Spirit. At first and or a week or maybe even a month, i didn't know what it was. But the day it happened, I felt this warmth of well-being come over me and it lasted the fully the whole day and for the whole week.

This isn't some mumbo jumbo things that happens to one....it is a truly religious experience. I don't even like using the work "religious"; more appropriate would be Jesus Christ experience because without Him, Our saviour and Lord, it would not happen. Christ sees your real heart and allows this to happen to you because He knows that you are ready or this.

I pray for Israel's protection and that of the USA, the tribes of Israel and Judah. I pray or Pres. Obama and his administration, that G_d will touch their hearts and open them up to the blessings and truth and knowledge of our Lord; this I also pray for all other countries all over the world especially Iran, CHina, and Russia.

I pray that the place I work at will be prosperous and that everyone will have a great day and to especially or the manager of the whole store; for his heart to be touched also that he may know you Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, his redemption, someone he can lean on when no one else will give him the time, and someone else he can learn the TRUTH from.

I pray for the sick people on our prayer lists and others. I also pray for G_d to bless our troops all over the world ad protect them and take of them and also our missionaries.

I love you Lord with all my heart and without you I would be nothing. Please help me with my fears and shortcomings and please especially help my husband's PTSD because this puts in him a certain mindset. But thank you Lord, because I think he is listening to me more and is reading the Bible more.

Please Lord also, take care of our Pastor and help his church to grow more and help him financially because I know he doesn't ask for much and just lives on what he needs, he a nd his family. Please bless him Lord and thanks for listening again and answering my prayers.

I need you so much...only You know how much. Love you Lord.

Godlessness in the Last Days
1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.
6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth—men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for (that day will not come) until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
