Philippians 4:4-7 (New International Version)

4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

When I have a an issue that is really bothering me or something that happens to me in a split second that I cannot control, most of the time, I ask our Lord for help because there is no way I can do it without him. Sometimes I am too fragile or the nature of the beast can be brought out. But He always reminds me that He is there to help me. Knock on that door and He will answer you and will not hide behind the curtains, and will help you to be more righteous. It is only through the grace of G-d can we accomplish the true meaning of ourselves.

1 CORINTHIANS 3: 18-23

Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a "fool" so that he may become wise. 19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness"a]"; 20and again, "The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile."b]"] 21So then, no more boasting about men! All things are yours, 22whether Paul or Apollos or Cephasc]"> or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours, 23and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.

18Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you. 19But I will come to you very soon, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only how these arrogant people are talking, but what power they have. 20For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. 21What do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a whip, or in love and with a gentle spirit?
